TRECKKING SPOTS OF KARWAR.


GUDDAHALLI;

Karwar had many trekking spots. If you like adventures then you go to Guddalli village it's situated in deep jungle approximately 10 km from the city by walk only you reach there walking in deep jungle is different experience.there is no other transportation option.
              For Guddalli there are two ways From side karwar High church road and from Binaga side you start  journey. for a journey in jungle it will take Four hours to reach village. In village 40-50 Familys For everyday needs they defend on karwar city. everyday morning they get down from forest after finish work they return back with their home needs. In this village maximum familys main occupation is Agriculture. One school and Achhakanya temple is here. top of this village one British bunglow is here built by britishes for Summer vacation. This place is very good for trecking. Maximum Karwar people visit this village every year.
           Yakshagaana is main culture of this village at any festival occasion they organise yakshagaana. 


BHIMANA BHUGURI;      
  Bhimana buguri is very good for trekking there is one stone bottom point is installed on another stone. this stone seen eyeview from harwada to chendia by road travelling. if you want go there is two easy ways one is from Amadalli side and another one is from Todur chendia side. for going there by walk only no other transportation if you decided to go there you take eatable items snacks with you only water available on top of hill by walk it take four hours it's fully up hill compare to guddahalli. there only one family stay on top of hill.

BEAUTIFUL CITY KARWAR.

KARWAR

Karwar is very beautiful coastal city situated end of Karnataka and Goa. city has very beautiful beach for morning and evening walk. city is covered with one side very thick Western ghats(Shayadri) and one side Arabian sea there are islands with forts at devgad, kurmgad,
               Karwar is district headquarter of Uttarkannada district. The place is named after kadwad actually a far off village to the east on the banks of kali river and the British east India company's factory at kadwad had it's opening to the sea from the point where karwar now stands. British made this place their district headquarter in 1863AD by creating a new town.                
                             This city is most importance of port because of this port is operating for all seasons. the port is a hill projecting into the sea and abounds with flora. islands anjdiv, devgad, kurmgad protect from heavy winds.karwar bay is remarkable for it's beautiful scenery studded with rows of coconut groves. poet rabindranath tagore wrote his first drama on a visit to this place . flanked by a series of verdant hills on the east and the sea on the west , with it's picturesque of all the district headquarters in the state. on his memory karwar people given this city beach name as Rabindranath tagore beach.  In karwar city every sunday market for vegitables,fruits,flowers,fishes, everything for home needs. This sunday market is known as very big market in uttarkannada district it's covers larger area approximately 800 meters. both sides of road from st. michels school to entire pickle road.             
      Now karwar slowly surrounded with two big central government projects like Nuclear atomic power station situated in Kaiga 60 kms away from karwar and another one is Indian Naval base situated main base at Arga arround 12 kms from Karwar it covers 30 km of sea shore from Binaga to Ankola. Now already first phase is completed and started. it's largest Naval base in India. Konkan Railway is connecting Karwar to Mumbai and Mangalore. Railway station is in Shirwad nearly 6kms from Karwar city.    
      Local langauage of Karwar is Konkani and Kannada Marathi also known Hindi and English used for commuting people.                Karwar climate is suitable for every one. From February to may Summer season, June to September full rainy season and October to January winter season.for best season to visit karwar is October to may.
