Karwar had many trekking spots. If you like
adventures then you go to Guddalli village it's situated in deep jungle
approximately 10 km from the city by walk only you reach there walking
in deep jungle is different experience.there is no other transportation
option.
For Guddalli there are two ways From side karwar High church road and
from Binaga side you start journey. for a journey in jungle it will
take Four hours to reach village. In village 40-50 Familys For everyday
needs they defend on karwar city. everyday morning they get down from
forest after finish work they return back with their home needs. In this village maximum
familys main occupation is Agriculture. One school and Achhakanya temple is here. top of
this village one British bunglow is here built by britishes for Summer
vacation. This place is very good for trecking. Maximum
Karwar people visit this village every year.
Yakshagaana is main culture of this village at any festival occasion they organise yakshagaana.
BHIMANA BHUGURI;
Bhimana buguri is very good for trekking there is one stone bottom
point is installed on another stone. this stone seen eyeview from
harwada to chendia by road travelling. if you want go there is two easy
ways one is from Amadalli side and another one is from Todur chendia
side. for going there by walk only no other transportation if you
decided to go there you take eatable items snacks with you only water
available on top of hill by walk it take four hours it's fully up hill
compare to guddahalli. there only one family stay on top of hill.
