TULSI VIVAHA FESTIVAL IN KARWAR.

TULSI VIVAHA CELEBRATION IN KARWAR ;

Tulsi vivah (lagna) Celebrated After 10 days of Diwali. Tulsi Vivaha means wedding Tulsi with lord Vishnu. Tulsi vivaha Celebrated in Karwar and Ankola Taluk very Grandly on this day market is full with sugarcanes and flower. on this occasion Sugarcanes ties sarrounded the Tulsi and decorated with colurful lights,mango leaves and rangoli. In evening poojas done and celebrated with crackers. In Karwar Tulsi Installed in front maximum homes. In Ankola side Halakki vokkaligas (Gouda) celebrated as very grand festival on this day they decorated Tulsi with Banana tree Pulps in different designs and Celebration goes on whole Night.
